Indomitable Kingmaker In Kiambu

 


 William Kabogo being first governor of kiambu county and Tujibebe Wakenya Party leader is back with a thud and this time more determined to change the lives of the constituents . According to some of the residents of kiambu they believe that ill will, propaganda and deciet is what denied them better services during the 2017 campaigns

One of the residents by the name Josphat karanja believes that Kabogo leadership will be pivotal in revolutionalizing service delivery all over the county. "Kabogo ni kiongozi ambaye alisaidia wakaazi na kutujengea hospitali kuu hivi kwamba safari za mbali kwenda kutafuta matibabu ni kitu kilichosahaulika. Kwa hivo wakati huu sisi kama watu wa kiambu tunataka Kabogo," Kaba Kabogo".

Being the first governor of kiambu County he was able to revolutinalize health, agriculture, sanitation among other key functions in the county government.

In what could be seen as one of the few counties with several generals eyeing the gubernatorial seat among them being  incumbent Governor James Nyoro, Thika town MP Patrick Wainaina, Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria,Senator Kimani Wamatangi and Former Governor Ferdinand Waititu who was impeached after being accused of gross misconduct among other charges .  


 Being in  political positions of power have always been attributed to strategies and manifesto of an aspirant .Over the years some leaders have stood to be some of the most smart minds matters development. 



Last month kabogo said while on a campaign tour in Juja constituency where he visited several areas including Gachororo, Mung’etho market and the surroundings, he will intensify his campaign activities to reach out to as many people as possible.

“We will start where we stopped in 2017 and am ready to reclaim the lost glory. I will place Kiambu on the international map as it was in our first term," he said.

The aspirants are expected to battle it out for the 1,180,920 Kiambu votes.

The voters now are tasked to choose wisely in between the candidates on who shall take over the leadership role come August 9 elections.

Moses Kuria comeback at Thika stadium.  As Mt Kenya succession politics continues to avert attention and all leaders salivating at the vote rich region ,there is a hopeful Moses who has vowed to march to ”Canaan" the promised land .
